What is a Myers’ Cocktail?
A Myers’ Cocktail is an IV infusion of essential vitamins and minerals that are used to help reduce the symptoms of Fibromyalgia, enhance the immune system, reduce fatigue, and more. An IV infusion allows the essential vitamins and minerals to bypass the digestive system and allows for direct uptake into the bloodstream. 

What Conditions are commonly treated with a Myers’ Cocktail?
Chronic  Pain
Tension  Headaches
Acute  Muscle Spasms
Fatigue  (including Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Adrenal Fatigue)

What happens during an infusion?
The patient will be taken into a quiet room and after a brief conversation with our provider they will be given an IV that contains the Myers Cocktail. 

How long does the procedure take?
The procedure normally takes between 30 and 60 minutes depending on the mix that is being infused. This infusion will be given slowly to ensure that there is minimal to no side effect. 

What to do after a procedure?
After the procedure is finished and the IV is removed; a bandage will be placed over the incision site. 

Risks are rare, but there is a chance that an infusion containing magnesium, that is administered to quickly, may lead to low blood pressure and can cause you to become light headed the rate that the IV drip is being infused can be adjusted to correct this issue.
